Which car is free tomorrow?
The phone rings, you check a notebook or a spreadsheet, and you are answering somebody else on WhatsApp at the same time. One mistake and two people turn up for one car. In Bookup you see every car's booked and free days in one calendar, and one date cannot be booked twice.

Whoever is renting the car sees the car, the free days and the price on your page, and sends the booking themselves.

The driving licence on the form
Ask at booking for the driving licence, the passport or the date of birth, as required or as optional.

The price seen at booking is fixed, even if you change it afterwards.

Is the price per day or per hour?
Per day. You vary the daily price with weekend and season prices, and you can set a discount on dates you choose.
Can I make the driving licence details required?
Yes. You choose the fields on the booking form yourself (driving licence, passport, date of birth, pick-up time) and make each one required or optional.
Can two people book the same car for the same days?
Not in Bookup. If the car is already booked in Bookup, those days are taken for everybody else. For a booking that came in some other way, block the days in the calendar by hand.
How do they pay me?
Straight to you, however the two of you agree. On confirmation an invoice is created automatically with your name and your bank details. Bookup does not touch the money.
How many cars can I add?
On Starter, 1 car; on Professional, up to 5 cars. During the free 7 days you can add as many as Professional allows. For six cars or more, get in touch with us.
Will a co-host be able to see everything?
No, only what you give them: the calendar, confirming bookings, prices, cars, analytics or managing the team. Each one is switched on separately.
Does the person renting have to register?
Yes, once and free of charge. In that account they will find their bookings and their invoices.
What happens after the 7 days?
If you do not choose a plan, the account becomes read-only and the page stops taking new bookings. Existing bookings are kept. You do not need a card: payment is by invoice.
